In furtherance of the formal swearing-in of the 17 LGA Transition Committee Chairmen in Umuahia on 1 Jul 2014 by the Abia State Governor Theodore Orji, the Governor has subsequently approved the following people as Deputy Transition Committee Chairmen in their respective Local Government Areas:

1. Aba North – Chimobi Ebisike
2. Aba South – Mrs. Franca Emeaghuwa
3. Arochukwu – Victor Egbe
4. Bende – Emenike Okorie
5. Ohafia – Mrs. Nelly Onwuka Kalu
6. Isiukwuato – Michael Nnamdi Udueze
7. Umunneochi – Ebere Stanley Uche
8. Ikwuano – Mrs. Chinyere Wisdom Ogbonna
9. Umuahia North – Chinedum Obilor
10.Umuahia South- Ebere Ezekiel (Rickky)
11. Isiala Ngwa North – Obinna Esochaghi
12. Isiala Ngwa South – Mrs. Gold Nwanunu
13. Obingwa – Mrs. Patricia Nworu
14.Osisioma – Mich Inyama
15.Ukwa East – Mrs. Cecelia Okere
16.Ukwa West – Ebere Umezurike
17.Ugwunagbo – Kelechi Dede

A statement Signed by Charles Ajunwa, Chief Press Secretary says the Governor also directs the deputy TC Chairmen to make themselves available to the State House of Assembly and State Director of Service.

Earlier in a similar development, the Governor of Abia State, Chief Theodore Orji, has approved the appointment of Engineer Damian Agubata as the new Chairman of Abia State Road Maintenance Agency (ABROMA).
The Governor also directs Engr. Agubata to make himself available to the State House of Assembly for screening.
