THE remains of the late pioneer Bishop of Oleh Dicocese, Anglican Communion , Rt. Rev Jonathan Edewor will be laid to rest on Saturday, April 17, 2021, after a funeral service at St.Paul Cathedral Oleh, Isoko South local government area of Delta State.

According to the funeral arrangement released by the family and the Oleh Diocese, Anglican Communion, the burial will be preceeded by service of songs to be held in honour of the late Bishop at Ozadhe Prmary School, Erawha-Owhe, Isoko North local government area.

According to the release, the burial will be followed simultaneously with entertainment of guests at Emore Grammar School playground Oleh, Isoko South, while the outing service holds at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Oleh.

It could be recalled that Bishop Edewor, who was Bishop, Diocese of Oleh, Anglican Communion between 1999 and 2012 passed on to glory recenty at 79 years after a brief illness.

A renowed academician, administrator, a one time State and National NUT Leader, community leader and clergy of note.

Bishop Edewor is survived by a wife, Dame Elizabeth Ejime Edewor, children, grandchildren, brothers, nephews and nieces. Amongst is Rev. Prof. U.N.O. Edewor, a lecturer at the Delta State University, Abraka.
