As the presidential elections race into the Ozoro Progress Union (OPU) executive gathers momentum, Chief Daniel Miller Akpoili has pledged an all-round development in the areas of security, peace, unity, development and growth as his basic priority, if given the mandate to serve his kinsmen come April, 2021.

High Chief Akpoili dropped the hint of his interest to contest the office of President General, at the weekend in an exclusive interview with our correspondent at Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said he was filled with determination; enthusiasm and passion to serve his kinsmen in order to improve on the living standard of one of the largest communities in Isoko nation, saying “it is high time to serve my people”.

According to him, having served as a member of Ozoro Progress Union (OPU), Lagos branch as a secretary and also partook in all the activities of the union, “I promised to take Ozoro kingdom and the entire people to the Promised Land, if given the opportunity to serve”.

He commended the Ovie of Ozoro Kingdom, HRM Barr. Anthony Uvietobore Ogbogbo Ibuka 1 (JP) for his leadership qualities and prayed God to continue to protect him and his entire household and Ozoro land in general.

Hon. Akpoili who promised that if voted into office, poor electricity supply to Ozoro and its environs would be a thing of the past, noted that he will take advantage of his cordial relationship with the Executive Director, Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), Mr. Abu Ejoor and ensure that my people would begin to enjoy steady power supply that would ultimately boost business activities in the area.

He also promised to facilitate internal roads construction in the community to boost and enhance movement of farm produce and other economic goods within and outside the community.
