Despite reservation in a section of Delta state, the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), has vowed to mobilize support for President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, for the 2015 elections.

The group took the position during the inaugural meeting of its Delta State chapter coordinators held at Asaba on Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

Addressing the meeting, the facilitator, Alanza Uche Ugboma, noted that TAN which is a political pressure group under the PDP must work for the success of its candidates.

He informed the gathering made up of senatorial and local government coordinators from the 25 local government areas of the state that their primary responsibility was to sensitize and mobilize the people to deliver all PDP candidates.

Alanza Ugboma said the state coordinator of TAN Hon Ned Nwoko, has directed that all coordinators should reach out to real PDP members and others so they can achieve results.

The Deputy State Coordinator, Mr. Victor Agbateyiniro and a PDP chieftain, Chief Emeke Ohaegbunem, expressed confidence on Hon Ned Nwoko, saying that with him, the group will achieve their purpose.
