By JOHNSON EBIGIDE
Eugene Azuka Uzum has felicitated Chiedu Ebie, Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) as he marks his birth anniversary today, Friday, January 2, 2026.
Uzum, a lawyer, politician, public analyst, youth advocate and Convener of Ika People’s Congress (IPC), said Ebie birth in Ika Nation has brought great positive transformations to not only the locality, but in Nigeria and beyond.
Uzum maintained that as the Chairman of the NDDC, Ebie had attracted monumental infrastructural development to Ika Nation, Delta State and the Niger Delta region of the country, adding that his footprints in lighting up Otolokpo and ensuring regular flow of portable water among other lifesaving projects in the locality would remain indelible in the mind of the people.
While commending President Tinubu for considering Ebie worthy of leading the governing board of the NDDC, Uzum urged Deltans and the people of the Niger Delta region to continue to rally support for Ebie to motivate him to do more for the region, adding that Ebie within a short time of leading the commission had surpassed the aspirations of the people of the region in terms of service delivery.
“On behalf of my family, the royal father and people of Otolokpo, I sincerely congratulate Ebie for being a worthy son of Ika Nation as he marks his birth anniversary,” Uzum stated.
“I pray God to continue to bless him with excellent health, wisdom and the enablement to enhance his passion to uplift humanity,” Uzum added.
