A prominent socio-political group in Dwlta state, Defenders of Democracy Group (DDG) has described the entrant of Mr. Anthony Chuks Obuh into the state’s governorship race as a good omen in the polity of the state.

The group, through it’s Coordinators in Delta North, South and Central Senatorial Districts respectively, assured Deltans to queue up behind Obuh, whom they described as an enviable politician, technocrat and best option worthy of emulation for Deltans to sustain the inherent peace and development agenda of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan.

The coordinators, in an exclusive interview with Blank NEWS Online, urged Deltans to undermine sectional opposition and work with Obuh in his quest to transform Delta state.

The Delta North Coordinator of the group, Comrade Uzor Nwabuoku, a former Delta state youth leader of PDP national grassroots forum, enjoined Deltans from the three senatorial districts to join hands in making sure that Obuh becomes governor, considering his detribalised nature.

Also, the Delta South coordinator of DDG, Comrade Ejoor Umukoro and his Delta Central counterpart, Comrade Peter Emwakpor disclosed that “Mr. Anthony Chuks Obuh is a noble man who has a clean track record of not being involved in any form of either financial crimes or bloodshed, like other politicians, describing him as a good omen to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and a welcome development to Delta state.”
