The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State will flag off campaigns for the 2015 general elections on Tuesday, January 13 with the presentation of flags to its flag bearers in gubernatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly elections.
A statement signed by Dr. Festus Okubor, Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of Delta state PDP Campaign Organisation and made available to Blank NEWS Online on Monday, January 12, 2015 indicates that the ceremony will hold at Oghara Township Stadium in Ethiope West Local Government Area of the state.
Okubor noted that Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the party’s gubernatorial candidate, will lead the cast along side three Senatorial candidates, 10 House of Representatives aspirants and 29 state House of Assembly flag bearers.
Tuesday’s rally marks the beginning of a state-wide campaign programme that will take the train to all the 25 local government headquarters in the state.
According to the campaign rally itinerary issued by the media and publicity committee of the PDP Campaign Organisation in Delta State, the rally will be rounded off on February 4 with a grand finale and national rally in Asaba, the state capital.
