GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
It is hereby announced for the information of the general public particularly Deltans that His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Governor of Delta State, will on Friday July 3, 2015, preside over the swearing-in ceremony of the Commissioners designate and Special Advisers, recently confirmed by the State House of Assembly.
Those to be sworn-in as Commissioners are:
1. Barr. Mrs Mary Iyasere
2. Hon. Barr. John Nani
3. Dr. kingsley Emu
4. Chief James Augoye
5. Mr. Vincent Uduaghan
6. Barr. NewWorld Safugha
7. Arch. Joseph Ogeh
8. Chief Fidelix Okenmor Tilije
9. Rev Omatshola Williams
10. Hon. Austin Chikezie
11. Hon. Joyce Overah
12. Mr. Chiedu Ebie
Similarly, the following persons would be sworn-in as Special Advisers,
1. Brother Emmanuel Ogidi
2. Senator Emmanuel Agwariavwodo
3. Rt. Hon. Martins Okonta
4. Hon. Pascal Adigwe
5. Comrade Michael A. Okeme
The ceremony will hold at the Event Centre, along Okpanam Road, Asaba at 11am prompt.
Accordingly, all top government functionaries, Permanent Secretaries, Chairmen and members of Statutory Boards and Commissions, Chairmen, Councilors and Supervisors in the 25 Local Government Councils in the State, Traditional Rulers, Party Chieftains, Captains of industry, relatives, friends and associates of the appointees and stakeholders in the Delta State Development project are by this announcement invited to attend the ceremony.
Guests are to be seated at the venue by 10.30 am prompt.
