The Isoko clusters of Oil Producing Communities of the four flow stations that constitute a major part of the Oil Mining Lease (OML) 30 has insisted that their recent pullout from the newly constituted Community Development Board (CDB) set up to operate the new GMOU for the Lease stands.

They described the statement and claims credited to Chief Sunny Akpotu, Sam Efegodo, Chief Emeakpor Owhe that the Isoko clusters have not pulled out of OML 30 CDB as false, adding that they were only representing their selfish desires.

The Isoko clusters therefore appealed to members of the public to disregard any statement or statements signed by the said Chief Sunny Akpotu, Sam Efegodo, Chief Emeakpor Owhe, describing their action as unfortunate and capable of causing confusion and fight in Isoko nation.

Recall that the Isoko Clusters had on Friday December 14th 2018, pulled out of the OM 30 CDB over alleged gross marginalization and breach of an earlier agreement on rotating the principal positions in the CDB executive among the clusters.

The communique was signed by the Traditional Rulers, the Presidents General (PGs) and the cluster nominees of Isoko nation host communities of OML 30.
