THE immediate past President General and Petron Isoko Development Union, High Chief Iduh Amadhe, has congratulated Senator Dr. Ifeayi Okowa, governor of Delta State on his emergence as the running mate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP Presidential candidate.
Speaking to Journalists at Oleh, Isoko South local government area, Amadhe described Okowa as a peace maker, a unifier that has played important role in the management of crisis’s in Delta State.
He stated that Okowa’s emergence as the Vice Presidential candidate is a reward of service to the people of Delta State and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Amadhe emphasized that Okowa’s choice as PDP Presidential flagbearer is an advantage to the South South region towards successful 2023 election.
He maintained that Okowa has lots of experience in governance and has contributed immensely for the growth of the PDP, a bridge builder and grassroot politician who has served in various political positions.
The I.D.U Patron described Okowa’s choice as a welcome development, adding that Okowa is a great asset to the party and will gain support across the southern Nigeria to ensure massive votes for the PDP during the 2023 elections.
