Dr Azemhe Azena, a popular Governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in Edo State, has expressed sympathy and concern over the death of about ten persons and many others who sustained various degrees of injury in a road accident in Okpella, Edo state on Monday.

The accident was caused by a long-loaded truck with a failed break that ran into the popular Ewo Market along the Okene- Auchi expressway.

The popular LP aspirant who was born and raised in that same community expressed shock over the incident and called on the government and public-spirited Nigerians like him to think of a way to stop a future occurrence while praying to God to grant his people the fortitude to bear the loss.

In a statement by his media team. Dr. Azemhe said, “It is very painful that innocent villagers who came out to make a living for themselves and their families will be met with such a gruesome death. It is a pity”.

The victims of this mishap include market women, Okada riders, members of the NURTW and innocent passersby.
