Chief Tina Daphey Lauds Gov. Uduaghan On Democracy Dividends Delivery

A frontline political leader in Ukwuani local government area of Delta state, Chief Tina Daphey has commended the state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for his upright and steadfast approach in the governance of Delta state.

Chief Daphey who spoke on the development trend in the state said that virtually all the facet of government has improved tremendously, citing the education, health and transport as a benchmark for measuring good governance.

She said that government concern in these sectors have also added a facelift to the economy of the state, which she described as laudable and worthy of emulation.

She added that the state has recently witnessed infrastructural growth in the continued construction of roads, bridges, rehabilitation of schools, health facilities across the state.

According to her, “if a leader is effective, such efforts should be commended to enable him or her perform better. The governor is a man chosen by God to improve the lives of the governed. I think from all he has done so far, he is worthy of our praises.”

While calling on representatives of Ndokwa/Ukwuani and Ukwuani local government area to also contribute their quota in service delivery to the people, she reasoned that it was the only way to complement the efforts of the governor in the massive development of the state.

Chief Tina Daphey also thanked the governor for the appointment of Sir Ken Okolugbo as a Commissioner representing the Ndokwa Nation in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), adding that Sir Ken Okolugbo, due to his interest in the peace and security agenda of the state governor recently donated two vans to police and vigilante to stem the tide of kidnapping in the state.
