The Wife of the member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Mrs Blessing Mutu, has admonished Children to serve God truthfully so as to attain a successful living in the future.

Mrs Mutu gave the admonishment during the yearly Christmas party organized for Children in Akugbene community, Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State

According to her, the Christmas party was to inculcate in the children the right values and virtues of God, make them to have a sense of belonging and to also feel loved, which to her, was what characterize the season.

She pointed out that since Children were God’s heritage, training them in the way of God would bring deserved development and growth to the family and society at large.

While advising the children to be close to God, be hardworking, and respect their elders to guarantee a bright future, she also urged parents and guardians to be watchful in their children’s upbringing, as they were the leaders of tomorrow.

Mrs Mutu thanked God and those who supported and contributed to the successful outcome of the Christmas party.

Meanwhile, the Women Leader, Akugbene Community, Madam Ebikedoumene Luke commended Honourable and Mrs Nicholas Mutu for their kindness and generosity towards the children.

The Women Leader said what Mrs Mutu and her husband have been doing would speak for them positively, and it would serve as a source of inspiration and encourage the Children to work hard, and prayed God to bless them.

The Children Christmas party included activities such as quash , spelling bee, poem, dance,games and other events.

Winners were given cash reward while the Mutu Foundation paid the school fees of some children for a period of years.

School materials such as exercise books and school bags were also given to all the Children that attended.
