The Speaker of the Delta state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Peter Onwusanya, has named Mr. Patrick Nwanze as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

Until his appointment, on official secondment, Mr. Nwanze is the Group News Editor of the Delta state owned newspaper, The Pointer Newspapers, Asaba.

Patrick Nwanze (Onowu) is a Mass Communication graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra state.

He is also a Patrician, having attended the revered Saint Patrick’s College, Asaba.

As a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) with a remarkable achievement, he has held many strategic editorial and union positions which ranked high among his contemporaries.

He is happily married with children.
