Asagba: Its dawn of a new era for Asaba, says Ogbueshi Ogeah

 As Professor Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge was on Saturday, October 5, 2024, coronated as the 14th Asagba of Asaba, one-time Delta State Commissioner for Information, Ogbueshi Chike Ogeah, Esq, has described his ascession to the throne of his forefathers as the dawn of a new era for the ancient kingdom of Asaba. 

In a goodwill message to Asagba Azinge, and and made available to Blank NEWS Online on Saturday, October 5, 2024, Ogbueshi Ogeah who is out of the country and unable to attend the ceremony, said he wholeheartedly congratulates the new Asagba.

According to him, “As an accomplished public servant and law teacher, Asaba is primed for a transformative era under His Royal Majesty, Asagba (Prof.) Epiphany Azinge. The people of Ahaba embraced his emergence as king with music and dancing and I am convinced he will lift Asaba to greater heights.

“I wish him excellent health and a long and peaceful reign on the throne of our forefathers. May the Most High God give him the grace and wherewithal to excel in the divine task of making Asaba kingdom greater”, Ogeah said in his congratulatory message. 

Prof. Azinge was formally coronated on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Asaba in a colourful ceremony at the royal palace. The event was witnessed by ndi Obi, Olinzeles, Ogbueshis, Okwulagwe, Umuada and the entire Ahaba community as well as top government officials.
