AZEMHE AZENA FELICITATES WITH EDO WORKERS, CALLS FOR VIGILANCE IN UPCOMING GUBER POLLS

The Governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, in the upcoming election in Edo State, Dr Azemhe Azena has sent a congratulatory message to the resilient workers in the state on the ocassion of the celebration of the International Workers Day today, May 1st.

In a message made available to the press by his media team in Benin city, the ebullient Televangelist and popular politician appreciated the commitment, resilience and dedication to service by the average Nigerian worker despite the prevailing economic conditions.

Dr Azemhe Azena, however called for a peaceful, reasonable and amicable resolution, as it regards the ongoing minimum wage negotiations between Government and workers in the nation.

The Governorship candidate used the occasion “to call on Edo Workers not to give attention to those who have deceived them with unfulfilled promises in the past, as the elections draws near” while assuring them of better days “in the nearest foreseeable future” he said.

The International Workers Day is a day set aside annually on May 1st, to recognize, celebrate and honour the significant contribution of workers all over the world. It is also used to promote a sustainable future for all by calling for improve working conditions and workers rights.
