Azemhe Commiserate with Edo market fire victims, blames PDP govt for insensitivity

The Governorship Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, in the September 21st election in Edo state, Dr Azemhe Azena has Commiserated with the victims of the fire incident near Eki Osa market in Benin City.

Speaking in a statement made available to the press by his media team, the popular Televangelist berated the PDP government in Edo State for failing to give the necessary attention to the fire department in the state which has resulted in a huge loss to victims of these frequent fire incidents in the state in recent time.

The Gubernatorial aspirant recalls that “despite the huge loss recorded in the recent Eki Osa market and the unfulfilled promise of the government to compensate victims, it is most painful that this incident has added to the economic hardship of the people in the state “

Dr Azemhe Azena added that such a critical department as the fire service deserves frequent attention and upgrades of fire-fighting equipment to meet public demand. He promised to look into the challenges of the fire service department when voted into power in the upcoming governorship election in the state.
