The Udu of ISOKO nation and MD/CEO of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Bashorun Askia Ogieh JP, has expressed great thanks to the Almighty God and congratulated all Nigerians, Deltans and indigenes of the mandate area of DESOPADEC, for the gift of life and good health.

This was contained in his New Year message titled “Welcome To The Year Of Restoration”signed and released by Bashorun Askia on Sunday morning ofJanuary 01, 2023.

The New Year message reads:

“As we enter the new year, 2023, I wish first to thank the Almighty God and congratulate all Nigerians, Deltans and the indigenes of the mandate area of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, for the gift of life and good health.

“It is an election year and, indeed, a year of hope for the revival and restoration of the great destiny of our nation.

“I therefore urge all Deltans to brace up with positive spirit to Advance Delta as well as to enjoin Nigerians to join hands in the mission to Rescue and Reset Nigeria onto the path of prosperity and well being of all our citizens.

“The critical steps towards this process is to ensure the collection of our Personal Voters Card (PVC), turn out to vote on election days, and in very peaceful manner.

“It is my prayer that, by our collective consciousness and action, 2023 will mark the departure of our nation from the hardship and insecurity, inflicted on the citizenry in the past seven and half years, and march onto a glorious future.

“Happy New Year Deltans!

“Happy New Year Nigerians!”, the message concluded.
