Breaking News: Delta Police Uncovers Baby Factory, Human-Trafficker Syndicate In Asaba

Blank NEWS Online can disclose that the Delta state Police Command has uncovered and busted an alleged baby making factory and human trafficking syndicate in Asaba, the state capital.

According to Blank NEWS Online dependable sources that a habitual human trafficker one Chinelo Ezeugo ‘f’ aged about 40yrs of Oko Market area Asaba, recruits unknown pregnant women and deliver them of their babies for sales in Oko, an off-shoot town from Asaba in Oshimili South local government area of Delta state.

Luck however ran out of the syndicate when a crack team of the Nigeria Police, acting on a tip-off on Friday, April 04, 2014 busted the baby making factory and rescued a number of pregnant women and babies, while the dealer was apprehended.

Meanwhile, the Delta state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP. Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the story in a statement made available to Blank NEWS Online said:

“Today 4/4/2014, at about 1030hrs, the DPO ‘B’ Division Asaba received information that a habitual human trafficker one Chinelo Ezeugo ‘f’ aged about 40yrs of Oko Market area Asaba, recruits unknown pregnant women and deliver them of their babies for sales.

“The JWC section and other operatives of the Division were mobilized and they swung into action. Reaching the scene, five (5) pregnant women from different parts of the country and four (4) children namely Ibrahim Usman 5yrs, Usman Mohammed 2yrs, Chidera Okechukwu 5yrs and Abigal Ezeugo 1yr were rescued. The said human dealer was also arrested.

The Delta PPRO further revealed that investigation was still in progress, while the suspect will be arraigned in court at the end of investigation.
