The executive members of Olomoro community over the weekend held the community conference and rendered stewardship of successful administration to the people of the area. The conference was held at Olomoro civic center, Isoko South local government area of Delta State.

Speaking to newsmen, the president general of Olomoro community, pastor Blessing Agboro enumerated some of the achievements of his administration within the past two years to the quarter’s representatives, branch representatives from various states in Nigeria and selected representatives from villages of the community.

He stated that for the first time, Olomoro community illustrious son, hon. Ferguson Onwo won Isoko South constituency 2 seat to become member Delta State house of Assembly. Agboro added that, his administration also installed new transformer for the transmission of electricity to the people of the area.

“The construction of internal roads through DESOPADEC, especially the interlocking of the palace road, installation of street lights and other infrastructural developments in the community were attracted during my tenure “, he said.

The president general posited that, among other projects lined up for completion in few months time are; the renovation of Olomoro community quarters town hall, coppers lodge and construction of more internal roads using interlocking methods in the community.

Agboro said, during the conference, Olomoro community electoral committee members were constituted to organize the community election scheduled to hold few months time even as the tenure of the present executives ends by December 2019.

In attendance were Chief Sunny Akpotu, secretary OML 30 Community Development Board, past president generals of the community, Branch representatives from various states in Nigeria and a cross section of Edio, Iletu, women and youths from the three quarters and villages of the community.
