CoS To Borno Governor Is Dead

Chief of State (CoS) to Borno State Governor (Prof. Babagana Zulum), Dr Babagana Wakil is dead.

A statement by the spokesman to the Governor, Mallam Isa Gusau announced his death on Wednesday.

Though the cause of his death is yet to be revealed, was said to have died in the morning of Wednesday at an undisclosed destination.

His burial has been set for 4pm on Wednesday in Maiduguri.

The statement from Gusau read:

“Innalillahi wa Inna ilaihi raji’in, from God we come and unto Him shall we return)

“Jana’iza (funeral) of the late chief of staff, Dr Babagana Wakil is to hold 4 pm today at his extended family residence in Shehuri North, Maiduguri.

“May Allah, Subhanahu Wa ta’ala, in His infinite mercy, forgive his shortcomings, admit him into aljanna and give his family the strength to bear our collective loss.

Innalillahi wa Inna ilaihi raji’un.”
