DEPUTY Governor of Anambra state, Dr. Nkem Okeke, who hitherto ditched his party All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC resumed work on Thursday in his office at Government House and had meeting with his political appointees.

Dr. Okeke, who thanked them for understanding and staying strong till he was back, restated that they are free to join any party they so believe in be it APGA, PDP, YPP, APC. etc.

The Deputy Governor assured them of his unrelenting support from him anytime they are in need. Reports claim that the meeting ended with everyone understanding the reasons for the Deputy Governor’s decision to join APC.

It would be recalled that the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nkem Okeke has officially defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and he is campaigning for the party’s candidate, Senator Andy Uba.
