In recent times the crime wave in Delta have been alarming ; series of criminal activities ranging from armed robbery, kidnapping, dispute between oil and gas bearing communities and international/indigenous oil and gas company in Delta state, today the crime reduction has been improved effectively in Delta state.

​This commendation is contained in a fact finding mission which was disclosed in a statement issued to Blank NEWS Online by the project director, Mission for Peace and Security in Nigeria Initiative (MPSNI), Comrade Ifeanyi Nwador Anyim.

According to him, “Delta police commissioner and team deserves awards from the rank and file to the superiors”.

He further disclosed that comprehensive plans and efforts are on going by the Mission for Peace and Security in Nigeria Initiative to hold a two days symposium tagged: THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COMMUNICATION NETWORK IN COMBATING CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES to mark their annual end of year conference/award ceremony.

The award recipients, according to the statement, will cut across the police from the rank and file to the superior officers which will include political leaders who have contributed their effort in ensuring peace and security in their various communities.

​He also described the CP Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba as a combatant, unbeatable, result oriented, intelligent and a man victor and merits the 2013 peace and security super cop award of the year along side his team led by DCP Taiwo Lakanu 2nd in command Delta state police.

He commended the effort of the IGP MD Abubakar via Ikechukwu Aduba in the recent approval of album launch of former PPRO Delta ASP Famous Ajieh: Titled “POLICE AND TEACHERS”.

Comrade Ifeanyi Nwador Anyim after a brief interactive session with ACP Famous Ajieh and editor Jide Castro of Great Achiever Magazine/Bulletin at the police Head quarters, Asaba, stated that the approval of the album launch by the IG is a welcome development to the Nigeria Police Force and a means of educating, enlightening and promoting the Image of the Force.
