The Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal will today, Monday, May 23, 2011 commence sitting in Asaba, Delta state. The Tribunal will entertain petitions only for the governorship poll.
Meanwhile, the strike action by the judiciary workers in the state have been lifted following the quick intervention of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and that of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan who rose up to the challenge by striking a negotiation deal with the judiciary workers union in the state.
