Nigeria’s women football League Champions, Delta Queens of Asaba will on Friday lock horns with Sam Nelly Fc of Benin Republic in their second game of the ongoing WAFU B champions league in Benin City, Edo State.
A statement from the CEO of Delta Queens, Henrienta Ihiabor debunked the story on line that Delta Queens are planing to boycott the match against their Benin Republic counterparts.
In a phone chat with supremesportsngl.com, the CEO expressed surprise at the report and condemned it in its entirety.
The head coach, Tosin Blanckson also in another development confirmed the team’s readiness for the game on Friday.
Delta Queens defeated USMA Fc of Bukina Faso 3-0 in the Wafu Zone B qualifiers on Sunday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
