Delta: Uduaghan Set To Commission More Infrastructure Projects 

Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan is set to commission more infrastructure projects across the state as his administration gradually winds down on May 29, 2015.

This disclosure, which was contained in a Government Special Announcement issued by the Delta State Ministry of Information and signed by the Director of Information Mr. Paul Osahor, stated that the Commissioning has been slated for Thursday February 12, 2015.

According to the statement, “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans, that His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan CON, Governor of Delta State, will on Thursday February 12, 2015, commence the commissioning of some completed road projects across the State.

“The schedule for the commissioning is as follows:
Thursday, February 12, 2015: Commissioning of Umunede/Mbiri Road in Ika North East Local Government Area, Aboh/Ashaka/Ushe/Aradhe Roads in Ndokwa East and Isoko North Local Government Areas and Refinery Road, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area”.

The announcement further noted that, Friday, February 13, 2015wil see the Commissioning of Ughelli Dualization Road, Ughelli North Local Government Area and Ovwor Township Roads in Ughelli South Local Government Area, while Saturday, February 14, 2015: Commissioning of Umeh Road in Isoko South Local Government Area.

“Accordingly, all top government functionaries, Permanent Secretaries, Chairmen of Statutory Boards and Commissions and indeed stakeholders in the Delta State project are by this announcement invited to attend the ceremony.

“Chairmen of Local Government Councils where these roads are located are to mobilize the affected communities in their various localities to accord the Governor and his entourage a rousing welcome”, the announcement concluded.
