DESOPADEC Commissions Projects Across Isoko *Askia Gets Commendation

The Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Bashorun Askia Ogieh, FCNA, CrFA has commissioned all completed projects executed by the Commission in Isoko to mark their one year in office.

The commissioning has the Chairman of the board, Hon Evang Michael Diden and all Executive Directors present.

During the commissioning, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oberevwori, the member representing Isoko South Constituency II, Hon Kenneth Ogba and President General of Isoko Development Union, High Chief Idu Amadhe graced the various ceremony and commended the Rebranded Board for a work well done.

The commissioned projects includes a four classroom block with Head-Teacher and Staff Office at Eweri Primary School, Emede, as well as a modern toilet with borehole water running in the school.

Others are Aluta street, Irri; Chief Godspower Obaro road, Oleh; Okpesia road, Oleh and Kenneth Ogba Road, Oleh.

The Rebranded DESOPADEC has put smiles on the faces of Isoko people because of the numerous ongoing projects which cuts across Isoko land.
