THE Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Odio Bashorun Askia Ogeh, FCNA, CrFA has received award from E. K. Clark Solidarity Movement for Okowa led by the group’s General Coordinator and former Secretary to State Government (SSG), Sir Simeon Efenudu.
Chief Dr. E. K. Clark who was represented by Sir Efenudu, explained the role of Bashorun Askia Ogeh in the political growth of the electorates as well as meaningful contribution to the state.
The former Minister further identified with Odio Bashorun Askia Ogieh as the “National Patron” and presented award of excellence to him as a symbol of his gigantic developmental stride in the state.
The Elderstateman who spoke through the former SSG further urged politicians and technocrats to emulate Bashorun Askia, saying that “his types are rare.’
In a brief response, the National Patron of the E. K. Clark Solidarity Movement for Okowa, Odio Bashorun Askia Ogieh extended his appreciation to the Grand Patron and assured the people that he is eager to put in his best.
