A political support group in the state, Delta Grassroots Network (DGN) has praised the efforts of the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, Chief Dr. Government Ekpemupolo, popularly called Tompolo, and the Managing Director of the organisation, Engr. Kestin Pondi, for their invaluable contributions to national development.

The Founder of the group and former House of Representatives aspirant in the state, Hon Chuks Frank Asuai, gave the commendation while speaking on the recent increase in oil production to over one million barrels per day.

Him Asuai noted that the significant increased counts not have been possible without the Ingenuity of none state actors, especially Tompolo’s Tantita Security Services Limited, in checkmating oil theft in the high sea.

He said the ability of Chief Ekpemupolo’s firm to maintain high professional standards of pipeline surveillance, in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy and other conventional security outfits, was the magic wand that shore up oil production, with prospects to hit two million bpd in the nearest future.

Hon Asuai said the duo of Tompolo and Pondi was a perfect match on security issues, stressing that they deserved additional critical jobs, having done well in their current surveillance contract.

The DGN helmsman specifically added his voice to the call on the Federal Government to concession the Warri Refinery to Kalm Marine & Petroleum Services Ltd, led by Engr. Kestin Pondi in order to advance the oil sector deregulation and improve access to petroleum products in the Niger Delta

He said Pondi’s recent success in developing the first oil well in the Ogbanabou Oil Field was commendable, noting that his efforts in increasing national oil production to nearly 2 million barrels per day had been acknowledged for their positive impact on strengthening the national economy.
