DROP YOUR PRIDE, ENGAGE IN LUCRATIVE VENTURES THAT WOULD BRING HONOUR TO SOCIETY -SAYS MONARCH

The  first vice Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council,  HRM S. P. Luke , PERE Kalanama Viii of Akugbene -Mein Kingdom , Bomadi Local Government, Delta State calls on all youths to drop their pride and engage in lucrative trades which provide daily income, saying, Such humility will surely take them to higher socio-economic levels. 

The  first vice Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, HRM S. P. LUKE , who was represented by the ONUABORO of Akugbene -Mein Kingdom, Chief Binaebi Ewurudje on the occasion of the inauguration of the Nigeria Association of Hairdressers, Barbers and Cosmetologists ( NASHCO), Bomadi LGA Branch recently in Bomadi Federated Communities Hall, Bomadi.

In his words “I feel very happy to be in your midst,  I am  happy because you are youths who are engaging yourselves in worthwhile ventures. My happiness further stems from the fact that in the past, our youths shied away from semi-formal sector trades such as this, regarding them as menial, demeaning and not lucrative. I am particularly thrilled that some of our male youths are neck-deep into the hitherto female dominated business of fixing women’s headgears (hairdressing) and the discipline of makeup application ( cosmetology) I commend you all! Keep it up!”  

The Monarch assured them of his  continued support in their chosen profession, just as he prays for them to excel in the industry. HRM S.P. LUKE JP . PERE Kalanama Viii of Akugbene -Mein Kingdom was the Royal father of the ceremony.

The high point of the ceremony was the inauguration of the branch Exco by the State President of NASHCO, Mrs Pricilla Chibueze, Ms Tokoni Mary was made the Bomadi LGA Chairperson while Aboh Opukeme Godswill got the position of State Organizing Secretary.
