The New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, has named Hon Edith Ihueghian Isokpan as the running mate to Dr Azemhe Azena, the NNPP Governorship Candidate in the upcoming election in Edo state.

This was disclosed to the party faithful and the general public by the State Party leadership on Saturday after a thorough screening by the party the previous weeks.

Hon Edith Isokpan who hails from Obadan in Uhunmwode Local government of EDO South was a former Gubernatorial candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC in the 2020 Governorship election in Edo state.

The youthful politician who was born on May 8th, 1975, is a humane personality, a philanthropist with a heart for Education at the grassroots and economic empowerment for the less privileged.

Hon Isokpan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and public administration from Imo State University and a Master in International Law and Diplomacy from the prestigious University of Lagos.
