THE people of Aviara Kingdom has presented the New King of the kingdom, HRM Michael Efeareduo Ebobo Imoh 1, the Ovie of Aviara Kingdom to Isoko South traditional rulers Council.

The presentation held on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the local government Secretariat Oleh, Isoko South local government area of Delta State.

While presenting the New King to the Monarchs, High Chief Iduh Amadhe, patron Isoko Development Union, reaffirmed the final peace that has returned to Aviara Kingdom, adding that the President General, representatives of Edio in council, Chiefs, members of the Ebobo ruling house, Clergymen, women and men from the 14 clans of Aviara Kingdom formed the entourage for the presentation.

Responding, the chairman of Isoko South traditional rulers Council, HRM Johnson Eweri 11, the Ovie of Emede Community who received the New King, demanded for the traditional items required to formalize the process.

The monarch prayed for the New King and urged the people to maintain existing peace in the area, just as the documents for the coronation of HRM Ebobo Imoh 1, Ovie of Aviara Kingdom was signed by the Monarchs.

Speaking to Journalists, Prince Moses Alakpa and Prince Mesh Okpeva commended the Isoko South Monarchs and expressed appreciation to God, noting that the event marks the end to the kingship tussle and return of peace in Aviara Kingdom.

Also speaking, High Chief Iduh Amadhe said, the New King brought jubilation, peace and unity to Aviara Kingdom and commended the leaders, men, women and youths of the kingdom for unity of purpose, even as he urged the people to sustain the peace and move the Community forward.

Amadhe also thanked the families that cooperated to ensure eventual emergence of HRM Ebobo Imoh 1 and prayed for peaceful coexistence towards making Aviara Kingdom the best among other Communities in Isoko Nation.
