The Southern Delta University, Ozoro will hold a mandatory Research and Publication Seminar and Workshop for all academic staff from Monday 13th through Friday 17th July 2026. This is contained in the official bulletin from the Vice Chancellor’s office issued on Wednesday 8th July 2026.
The Seminar and workshop approved by the Vice Chancellor Prof Sunny Ijirhevwe Awhefeada will hold at both the main campus at Ozoro and the Orerokpe campus from Monday to Wednesday and Thursday and Friday respectively.
According to the official bulletin, the seminar and workshop with the theme *Effective Research Writing and Publication Prompt* is intended to “strengthen Research competence, enhance scholarly publications, and improve research productivity through practical and contemporary strategies for quality academic writing and publishing”,
While the event will hold at the ETF Hall at the main campus in Ozoro, from Monday 13th to Wednesday 15th, it will hold at the main Auditorium of the Orerokpe Campus with the Provost Prof. Akpovughaye Taiga as host on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th July 2026.
In the official bulletin issued on Wednesday July 8th 2026 by the Information and Public Relations unit of the Vice Chancellor’s office, the training is said be compulsory for all academic staff who should be seated before 9.00 am when the Seminar and workshop is bid to kick off.
The seminar and workshop will be anchored by two erudite academics: Dr. Great I. Edo and Dr Patrick O. Akpoghelie as facilitators.
