Gov. Orji Condoles with Families of Jos Bomb Blasts Victims *Describes act as barbaric, wicked

Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji, has sympathized with the families of victims of the recent bomb blasts, which claimed over forty lives.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, Governor Orji who is the Chairman of South East Governors’ Forum, also commiserated with Plateau State Governor and Chairman Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Mr. David Jang and the entire people of Plateau State, over the bomb blasts which claimed innocent lives.

Governor Orji who described the killings as barbaric and wicked, tasked the security agencies to do everything possible to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.

The governor who condemned the recent killings in Jos, implored all stakeholders to support the state and federal governments in their quests to contain the rising incidences of violent crimes around the country.

He also called on religious leaders to teach their followers the doctrines of peace and love prophessed by the major religions- Christianity and Islam, which preached against the shedding of innocent blood.
