Abians have been urged to intensify their support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)- led government in the state and discountenance the claim by the All Progressives Grand Alliance( APGA) that it will clinch the state in 2015.

The Chief Press Secretary to Abia State Governor, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, who made the call while briefing journalists at the Government House, Umuahia, described as laughable the claim by the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh during his recent trip to Abia that his party will take over the state in 2015.

He said that Abia is 100% PDP and that there is nothing like APGA in the state and charged cChief Umeh to mind his business.

According to him, Chief T.A. Orji will deliver the state to the PDP as usual and assured that there is no space for any other party in the state.

Mr Ajunwa pointed out that Chief T.A. Orji has made a lot of impact in all sectors of the economy of the state and surpassed the achievements of past leaders of the state, adding that he has shown commitment to the Abia project.
