The Urban Girls Secondary School, Fegge, Onitsha was thrown into wild jubilation as the Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo announced the payment of third term school fees of 2,500 students of the School.
Prof. Soludo who said he will offset the school fees from his personal money made the promise when he visited the school while on a thorough assessment visit to Onitsha.
He also used the occasion to encourage the students to remain good ambassadors of the State.
The Governor harped on the need to always maintain hygiene both at home and in school.
Governor Soludo called on the teachers to ensure they give the best to the students and assured that quality education will remain a top priority of his government.
The students of the school were immediately after the announcement thrown into wild jubilation, as the students sang the praise of the Governor, referring to him as the Solution to Amambra’s problem.
