-By Gertrude Onyekachukeu-Uteh:

Stephen Dumebi Mozea hails from Oshimili North LGA. He is the CEO of Dusom Integrated Farm, DARDA at Ibusa. He has a B.Sc.  He enrolled into YAGEP in the 2015/2016 cycle wherein he was trained and established in Poultry. In spite of life challenges, he is still in business. He shares his experience after seven years.

“Agriculture is lucrative. I thank Governor Okowa for making me who I am. From poultry farming, I have diversified to crop production. I cultivate tomato, pepper, onion, yam, cassava and carrot.

“I feed my family from the proceeds from my farm all year round. I bought a car, one acre of land and completed my building from the proceeds.

“I offer consultancy services to other farmers too. At present, I have only 100 broilers and 250 layers because I am working to bounce back after I survived a fatal motor accident.”
