Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, in the 2023 General elections, met with four of the governorship aspirants in his home, after their screening today, in preparation for the primary elections coming up on Friday, this week.

The former Kano state governor assured the aspirants of a level playing field while calling them to be united as one. He urged them to pray for the success of the primaries and that of the party in general.

The aspirants who attended the screening exercise earlier in the day include the highly esteemed Dr Azemhe Azena, a Benin-based Televangelist, entrepreneur, philanthropist and popular polician.

Others include Rev Iyere-Oyekpen, Pastor Balogun and P.O.G.Peter, a clergyman. The NNPP primaries are scheduled to determine the final party’s flag bearer in the upcoming gubernatorial race in Edo State.
