LG Polls: LP Candidate, Ojogbo Declares Interest In Aniocha North Chairmanship

Ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in Delta State, a retired /Director of Veterinary Services in the state, Dr. Augustine Ojogbo has formally declared interest in contesting for the Aniocha North Local Government Chairmanship position under the Labour Party (LP).

Ojogbo, a native of Idumeje-Unor in the local government area, made the declaration during a meeting with stakeholders at the LP’s Secretariat in Issele-Uku.

Addressing the party members, he said, “I am a seasoned technocrat with vast skills, knowledge, and experience to bring the most desired and deserved dividends of democracy to the citizenry of Aniocha North LGA.

His words, I want to deliver the most desired and deserved dividends of democracy to the citizenry of Aniocha North LGA, I have a well-articulated and all-encompassing five point Agenda (Mantra) known as AWELE.

” I seek your unalloyed support in this journey to becoming the Chairman as I sincerely express my interest”.

He noted that his mission and vision was to build and maintain a thriving local government area that was safe and secure for all residents by creating an inclusive environment and also ensuring economically viable and culturally-oriented communities, where people can live, work, and recreate under a secure environment.

Responding, Aniocha North Labour Party Chairman, Mr.Onyebuchi Oshukwudo, welcomed him and assured him oftransparent treatment to all the party’s local government chairmanship aspirants.
