Mysterious Thunderstorm Kills Three In Delta

MYSTERIOUS thunderstorm has allegedly killed three persons in Delta state.

According to anonymous sources, a young man known as Victory Emuobor was allegedly knocked out while playing football with other boys at Evoja primary school Oleh, Isoko South local government area of Delta State.

The rain storm that also destroyed properties worth millions of naira lasted for about one hour in the area just as the boys were playing football before the rain started.

The thunderstorm struck the four boys on the field while playing football and Victory Emuobor died instantly. The source said, other three boys survived after they were rushed to a nearby clinic for medical attention.

The shocking news about Victory’s death among members of the family also left sympathizers worried over the sudden thunderstorm that could not get to some communities close to Oleh kingdom.

According to the source, Victory Emuobor has been buried by the family members just as situations surrounding the mysterious death remained a source of worry.

In another development, a man and woman traveling on a motorcycle along Aviara road to Irri in Isoko South local government area were also allegedly struck by the thunderstorm and died as nobody came to their rescue.

According to the source, the thunderstorm struck a rubber tree that fell on them while on their way to Oleh community and unfortunately, the road was lonely due to the severity of the rain with thunderstorm.
