Delta state former Commissioner of Energy, Barrister Newworld Safugha congratulates  His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the new Delta Governor and asked Deltans join hands collectively to enable him deliver on his campaign promises.

Speaking to newsmen by telephone interview, Barr. Safugha said the success of the new governor largely depended on the collective responsibility of Delta state sons and daughters.

He pointed out that the new governor’s agenda of MORE DEVELOPMENT is realizable if Deltans believes and have confidence on the governor with positive mindset to  support him .

According to Barr. Safugha , Governor Sheriff leadership qualities displayed during his years’ as the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly by creating harmony among the Honourable members in House was enough for Deltans to know that  he is  a responsible and responsive leader.

The former Commissioner of Energy reiterated that Governor Sheriff would certainly bring his promises to friction, saying everyone in Delta State should play their role by keying on Governor Sheriff policies and programme with positive disposition to have good governance.

Barr. Safugha also commended the former governor of Delta State, His Excellency Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for handling over the state to People’s Democratic Party (PDP)  governor. 

He noted that Senator Okowa imprint in the state which had added growth and development would always be fresh  in the minds of Deltans. He asked God to grant him and family the grace to live a healthy lives., saying Senator Okowa’s dexterity in handling critical issues was worthy of emulation . Safugha said.
