Nigeria Police Names Commissioners For 21 States *Usman Baba Is New Delta Police Boss

20140909-062128.jpgThe acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has named and deployed new officers to 21 states as Commissioners of Police in the States.

In the new appointment, Usman A. Baba becomes the new Commissioner of Police for Delta State, following the retirement of former Delta Police boss, Ikechukwu Aduba from service.

The appointment was announced in a statement signed by Emmanuel Ojukwu, the Force Public Relations Officer, saying “the appointment followed the recommendation of the Commissioners to the Police Service Commission and its subsequent approval.”

The commissioners are:
