Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated former Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Chief Mrs. Faith Majemite, on the occasion of her 59th birth anniversary.
Oborevwori in a statement issued on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, lauded the Kokori-born politician, fondly known as “Oniemo,” describing her as a staunch grassroots mobiliser and political stalwart whose service to Delta State has been impactful and inspiring.
He noted that Majemite, who previously served as Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation, distinguished herself through her commitment to empowering women and strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level.
He commended her for her dedication to public service, loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), and unwavering support for the growth and development of Ethiope East Local Government Area and the state at large.
The Governor said Majemite’s leadership style and ability to connect with people across communities had continued to earn her respect and admiration within the political space.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate my dear sister, Chief Mrs. Faith Majemite, on the occasion of her 59th birth anniversary on February 13,” the Governor stated.
He prayed that God would grant her many more years in good health, wisdom, and strength to continue contributing meaningfully to the advancement of Delta State and the nation.
Governor Oborevwori urged her to sustain her commitment to service and continue to play active roles in promoting unity, development, and inclusive governance across the state.
