Ogbaru Local Govt Boss Receive Coalition Of Youths, Urge Them To Be United, Focused


The Chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area, Hon. Paschal Aniegbuna received the coalition of Ogbaru Youths led by Mr. Chukwudi Izukanne.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Izukanne thanked the Chairman for making out time from his tight schedule to receive the Youths body.  

He said that the various youth bodies in Ogbaru came together to form a strong united body.

Also, speaking at the occasion, Mr. Chiagozie Obaze thanked the Chairman for  making out to receive the leaders of the group. 

He said that members of the team are people with vision and fresh ideas that will help to transform Ogbaru. 

Mr. Obaze appreciated the Chairman whom he said is the first Local Government Chairman to bring the various youth bodies together to have a round table discussion.

Responding, the Chairman thanked the  youth group for the visit.

Mr. Aniegbuna emphasized the importance of Youths in the growth of any society, stating that the  National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) is known to the Presidency, and Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Youth Wing is equally known to the State Government, so the Local Government will work with the youth body.

He urged them to be united and build trust among themselves  so that they can be able to achieve greater things. 

In his words: “if this trust works, the youths will do things that will give them a place of honour and recognition in every town.”

The Chairman equally emphasized the importance of education to the youths at the Community levels.

Mr. Aniegbuna assured the youth group, that he will find a way of hosting youth conferences once every month in Ogbaru.
