Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Godwin Ogorugba has congratulated Dr Israel Adaigho on his election as the Chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Delta State.

Dr Adaigho, who hails from Igbuku-Owhe, is also President-General of Owhe Clan, in Isoko North Local Government Area.

In a congratulatory message, on Sunday, Ogorugba said Adaigho’s election indicated the full confidence of Delta doctors on his ability to lead them.

Ogorugba welcomed Adaigho’s election assuring that his administration in Isoko North would cooperate with doctors in the Local Government to give the people best of healthcare as envisioned in Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda.

“On behalf of the government and people of Isoko North Local Government Council, i congratulate an illustrious son of our LGA, Dr Israel Adaigho on his election as Chairman Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Delta State Chapter.

“As Dr Adaigho and his State Executive takes over the mantle of leadership of Delta NMA, the Isoko North Council boss, hopes that they will maintain and build on the cordial and friendly relations developed over the years with key stakeholders in the state’s health sector.”

Ogorugba further said that with Adaigho at the helm of the Delta NMA, he will work harmoniously with his Executive to achieve the much desired health for all and improved working conditions for Delta doctors.

He wishes Dr Adaigho a very successful tenure.
