Former Delta state Commissioner of Energy, Barrister Newworld Safugha has commended Deltans for exhibiting maturity before, during and after the 2023 General Elections especially Governorship and the House of Assembly,.

Barrister Safugha pointed out that Deltans displayed their understanding of democratic and political rights to enhance growth and developmen of the state. 

Speaking via telephone interview, Barr. Safugha said the well deserved victory of the governor elect, Rt. Honourable Sheriff is for all the people of the state. He asked Deltans to also extend the same support to enable him succeed in his administration as it has always been done to previous governments.

He asked God to grant the governor elect the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state, and appealed to fellow contestants to join hands with the governor elect to achieve the  set goals of the state.

Safugha reiterated that the maturity exhibited by Deltans yielded peaceful results and free and fair elections.
