Izeze praises outgone PS’s service as Ministry of Works bids her farewell

The Commissioner for Works, Highways and Urban Roads, Comrade Reuben Izeze has praised the outstanding contributions of the immediate retired Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr. Mrs. Juliet Aboloje noting that her high quality of work earned her the Permanent Secretary position.
Comrade Izeze stated this during the send forth ceremony by the Ministry held at the Marian Babangida Leisure Park, Asaba.
He said that Dr. Mrs. Aboloje combines elegance and intelligence and has been one of his greatest source of inspiration.
Speaking on her mode of work the Hon. Commissioner said that the retired PS pays attention to job specifications and standard emphasizing that she does not compromise on engineering standard.
” His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori got to realise that Dr. Mrs. Juliet Aboloje knows her onions as far as engineering is concerned.
” The Permanent Secretaryship was because His Excellency was impressed with the quality of her work.” He said.
He prayed that Dr. Aboloje would continue to positively impact on people through her wealth of experience.
Speaking at the occasion a retired Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works, Engr. Frederick Edafioghor emphasized on the need to leave a lasting legacy at the end of ones service just like Engr. Dr. Mrs. Juliet Aboloje.
He noted that the Ministry of Works presents an opportunity for one to make a difference.
Engr. Edafioghor enjoined all engineers to ensure to make efforts to make the world a better place.
” When we go about our daily duties we should cast our minds on how we can make roads , better, faster and cheaper.” He said.
On his part the functioning Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Highways and Urban Roads expressed gratitude to His Excellentcy, the Governor of Delta State and the entire Executive Council for their unwavering support and commitment to the growth and development of the Ministry.
He extolled the virtues of Engr. Dr. Mrs. Aboloje for her outstanding service, exemplary leadership and immense contributions to the development of the Ministry and Delta State at large.
He wished her a fulfilling, peaceful and rewarding retirement.
Others that praised the retired PS’s exemplary leadership, high standard and impactful service were; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Rural and riverine roads, Engr. Gabriel Fuludu, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal, Mrs. Charity Ehime, Director Urban Roads, Engr. Victor Oputa, Director Planning, Research and Statistics, Mr. Kensington Mordi, Director Finance and Accounts, Mrs. Brume Christiana Ezewu, Director Administration retired, Mr. Onajomo Ideh.
The celebrant, Engr. Dr. Mrs. Juliet Aboloje in her vote of thanks appreciated the support she received from staff while in service which she said is a contributing factor for her successes.
She equally thanked her family for all their support and encouragement throughout her years in service.
She appreciate the Honourable Commissioner for a cordial working relationship and in particular she appreciated His Excellentcy Rt. Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori for providing a conducive working environment and given her the opportunity to serve.
Present at the occasion were the husband of the celebrant, Dr. Ese Albert Aboloje and their children.
