As the rift between two major Nigerian Football Clubs, Warri Wolves of Delta state and Rangers International of Enugu state soars, the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Warri Wolves FC, Mr Alex Amudo has been suspended with immediate effect for anti-club activities.

Blank NEWS Online learnt that Amudo has allegedly been conceding to non-agreeable terms in the ongoing discussion with Board members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and executive of the warring football clubs at Abuja, leading to his recent clarification of certain grey issues about the purported agreement between Warri Wolves FC and Rangers International FC over ownership and financial settlement on Sunday Mba and Chigozie Agbim.

Sources revealed that the authorities and owners of Warri Wolves FC had frowned at Mr Alex Amudo’s representations at the Abuja parley, alleging that he was a potential “Rebel” to club’s position on the ensuing matter as well as having contrary view to that of Delta State Sports Commission who are the  custodian of the Club.

Meanwhile, Mr Kenneth Nwomucha has been appointed to act as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Warri Wolves FC.

According to a letter signed by the Club Secretary, Mr Lawrence Omowho which also addressed to the Nigeria Football Association (NFF), Mr Alex Amudo was allegedly suspended as disciplinary measure for act of insubordination to constituted authority.

The suspension letter, made available to Blank NEWS Online, also nullified whatever discussion Mr Alex Amudo had in Abuja, claiming that all his assertions at the series of meetings were not binding on the Club.

Mr Amudo has been directed to handover all Club property in his possession to the Club Secretary with immediate effect.

The suspension letter reads:
“You are hereby suspended from the Management Board of Warri Wolves as the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for act of indiscipline and insubordination to constituted authority, having contrary view to that of the Delta State Sports Commission who are the custodian of the Club.
“Whatever discussion you had in Abuja and your purported signatory to documents is not binding on Warri Wolves.
“You are to handover all the Club properties to the Club Secretary.”
