YAGEP Has Created Employment for Many Youths in Delta, Says Eyimeje

ANNA ONOME EYIMEJE, a graduate of Sociology, is a beneficiary of the Delta State Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme (YAGEP) in the 2016/2017 cycle. She is the CEO of Anazek and Sons Enterprise located at the Fish Farm Cluster at Egbokodo-Itsekiri in Warri South Local Government Area (LGA). She hails from Ethiope East LGA. She shares her story.

“From two fish ponds and 2,000 fingerlings, I now have six fish ponds stocked with 5,000 fish. I have trained two persons who are established and have begun their own fish farms. I have a casual staff. I am working towards expanding my business and diversifying into poultry when I acquire personal land. I acquired a personal pumping machine and measuring scale.

“I pay my bills and support my family from the proceeds. YAGEP has created employment for many youths in Delta. I appeal to the Government to engage more youths and to support existing youth farmers in order to provide more food for our
