She shares her story after four years.

“YAGEP boosted my farm. Before I enrolled into YAGEP, I was a mere cassava farmer practisingsubsistence farming, but today I have become a commercial farmer. I now sell cassava with lorry. I thank Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for this life changing-opportunity.

“YAGEP introduced me to best practices in cropfarming. I applied it and I am now financiallycomfortable. I have been lifted out of poverty. I have trained four persons in my farm and I have two trainees at the moment. I pay six casual employees who work for me as the need arises.

“I have diversified into maize and yam farming in addition to cassava farming. From the proceeds of my business, I bought five acres of land to expand my farm; I bought a motorcycle and I sponsor myself in the university, because I am currently an undergraduate. I am a happy person.”
